Yeah, their old songs are the best. "Highway to Hell" and "American Woman" are my favorites.

Who's heard Chinese Democracy here? I heard it sucked.

I liked the song "Chinese Democracy" because it was by Guns n' Roses and they kick ass. But some people might rather old school Guns n' Roses, so to some people it might suck, but for me I like it

It was alright. I thought it was a bit monotonous though. If you don't pay attention, all their songs start to run together and sound exactly alike.

Yeah. The singing sounds the same in all of the songs except for Spoilin' for a Fight. Ah well. Its only a minor flaw.

I'm totally with you there, they perfomed some of the best music of all time.
I find Eric Clapton particularly awesome, cause he never really had a band of his own, All the amazing songs he made are his genius and his alone.
Let's not get started about Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, they made classics.

Talking about Stevie Ray Vaughan, he have recorded both blues band rock stuff. I don't know what he's best for. But he's really good at both styles.

I think he excelled at both genres, and when I listen to his music, I don't make the difference, Stevie Ray Vaughan is something else to me, no particular reason, just personal taste.

That said, have you seen the concert in tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan? It's pure awesome, the artists in it are: B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, Art Neville, Bonnie Raitt and Dr. John (I don't think I missed anyone) performing Stevie Ray Vaughan's best songs.

If you haven't seen it, find a way to do it as fast as possible, some of the best sound I've heard ever ;)

For me, I've only liked The Sex Pistols and The Ramones, I'm not a big fan of Punk, neither do I like to put it along side Rock music myself, it seems to lose the essence of the genre...

Maybe it's not bad by normal standarts, but it's definitely a disappointment comparing to songs like Welcome to the Jungle orSweet Child O' Mine, that's besides the fact the unreal amount of time it took to make...

Well... Its New Years Eve tomorrow... I watched American Pie the other day and it had a kick ass soundtrack. I've started listening to Sugarcult (from soundtrack), The Killers (from dunno), and AFI (also dunno)... I also started downloading music from the Newgrounds Audio Portal. Some of the punk music from the portal is pretty good, like stuff from Set-Your-Goals, Giftedbuttwisted, and Astroninja!

My mother got an album of Eric Clapton playing with B.B. King, that's an awesome album.
