grand theft auto 5
GRAND THEFT AUTO 5! online?????
how can there be a gta5 without a gta4? and who said it is exclusive to ps2? all that has been said is that it might debut on the ps2.
x box gamecube, no shot

I own a gc I enjoyed it for months, but when I got my ps2 NGC was shelved. Gamecube good, next year X-box will be good, this year, next year forever PS2 is your ruler.

Everyone has different hands, you can't mass produce something for everyone. I, and many of my compadres happen to find the button layout cramping, whereas the PS2 controller is juuust right.
PS stop being so much of a tindy fanboy, you're making yourself look silly

Yeah really man. That's pretty funny when you think about it. I mean I had difficulty with it the first time I played a GameCube (When I used to have a PS2 and I was familiar with it). You people just need to use it for a bit and understand the controls. After that maybe the controller won't suck as much as you think it does.

Actually, Nintendo is carrying out plans to broaden their market base by porting popular more mature games from other systems. They also are developing more mature games in house such as Killer Seven. Oh, and as far as the kiddy nature of a number of their games most look cartoony but most of them are every bit as challenging (if not more so) than a lot of games out there.
I mean seriously, how can you make a Mario and keep the feel without a cartoony look?

Do you know why the button layout feels juuust right?
Because nintendo designed that layout thats why.
With the Gamecube they wanted to me more original and try somthing new. Doesn't work for you but it does for many others.
As for comfort, the gamecube one is far comfier just to hold in your hands.

They designed a similar layout, which Sony then improved on. Innovation is the name of the game, mang.

Of course, this article is from the SUMMER, and it's already winter, and they resumed production long ago.
And about consoles and controllers and games, I happen to enjoy what the gamecube has to offer. I find that the controller has great contours and it's easy to use.
But since it's a matter of opinion, it means that EVERYONE IS WRONG, SO SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT.

They did not improve on it, they just used it.The 4 buttons on the right and the D-pad are inventions form Nintendo I belive, Sega has there own layou and 8-way D-pad, they are original. Sony just nicked the idea, not called Innovation. Nintendo are the innotive ones. As soon as they had an analogue stick ( kinda tacky one ) suddenly Sony came out with them, but they shoved them in a bad position. This is why Nintendo havn't shown anything on thier next Mario game, they're fed up of other companies nicking there brilliant ideas.
Gamecube is far form dead.

And let's not forget the product Nintendo are releasing on E3!
NOONE KNOWS WHAT IT IS! When IGN asked Shigeru Miyamoto what if it's a console or a portable, he said neither...but I geuss it's something to compete with N-gage...(which sucks anyhow)

My prediction is that their new device will be something to do with holograms, because they seemed to be focusing on that type of crap at the last E3.

It was a survey for the uk but they say that gamecube is having the highest increase in sales if that were true shouldnt gamecube be number 1? How can ps2 be the most popular thing to buy if everyone got 1?

Nintendo didn't start a good advertisement campaign in the UK or Australia. Gamecube used to not sell at all there, but just recently the sales have increased dramatically (as well with other regions), could it be the Who Are You campaign?
It's been the best selling console of the three WORLDWIDE now that it's #1 in North America & Japan. PS2 is probably keeping the UK market still, but I read somewhere that gamers actually have more than one system now. Long time ago people either had a SNES or a Genesis. It was rare to see anyone have both.
But something's changed now, most people have multiple systems (including the GBA and PC) and guess which console someone will buy when they have a PS2? $200 for an X-box? No, they've got a DVD player already, plus a DVD-ROM on their computer, and PS2 can play DVDs, and all the games are on PC anyway. This is the reason why the $99 Gamecube with the top-rated, exclusive games are outselling every other system except the Game Boy. Nintendo throws in a free disc containing FOUR Zelda games and they've got themselves a winner for Christmas.

Namco is creating the Starfox sequel. When it comes out everyone will compare it to the piece of crap Starfox Adventures that Rare made and then come to the realization that Nintendo made a great move to dump Rare and give the leftovers to Microsoft.
Oh, and Elfer, thanks ;)
