Hmm... I did some conversions from the AUD to the USD, and litres to gallons and figured that my $1.52/L was about $3.85/Gallon. I remember when petrol was around 80-90 Australian cents per litre, but lately, I've seen it up around $1.69, which is about $4.28/Gallon. In the cities it's cheaper, but I was so glad to see petrol at around the $1.50/L mark. I WISH I were paying only 77 cents a litre for fuel... Man, it's gonna suck when I'll have to fork out $70-$80 just to drive to Perth when I move there.

i remember the days when gas used to cost 49 cents a gallon
