Sarah Palin needs a hug

I'm starting to feel sorry for her. While I was and am a 100% Obama/Biden supporter, what the former McCain aides are doing to her is just wrong. They didn't lose because of her, they lost because of McCain AND Palin, and because of their terrible campaign tactics.

Anyway, I just want to give Sarah Palin a hug. While she should stay in Alaska and not move to Washington D.C., she should also be treated like a human being instead of a ragdoll and she deserves to be treated with respect.

Sarah, if you're reading this: I LOVE YOU BOO!...just don't ever run for Federal Executive Office ever again.

I think that a lot of people who were on the fence decided not to vote for McCain simply because of the possibility of Palin one day becoming president.

I saw the republican party's logic in having a female VP - to try and cast off the traditional image of a White-Male-Protestant political group, much like the Democrats did with Obama - but her stupidity and lack of political finesse definitely cost them a lot of votes.

I feel like she also shot herself in the foot early on in her political career with this campaign, and can see her fading into the backdrop of American politics never to reemerge in any major office.

He, himself, has had some dignity in loss and has at least talked down the people with the crazy ideas like that Obama is an arab.

Besides, since Ted Stevens wont stay in the senate longer than a second in January on account of being a felon. Sarah can appoint anyone to the job as Governor, including herself. Once she does, she has 90 days before she has to hold an actual election

I had nothing against McCain personally, so keeping this nonpolitical I'd say he wasn't a bad person at all. And the way they ran there campaign was anything but political in my opinion. They just didn't act official enough... sure it made them seem like regular Americans like you or me. But would you really think you'd make a good president?

The McCain/Palin campaign team was an embarrassment, and the GOP should have had the common sense to not allow it to be fucked up so thoroughly. That campaign was just run badly, period.

Palin shouldn't honestly be in ANY high governmental office PERIOD, in my opinion, but maybe the Alaskan political climate actually suits her, shit, I don't know. Either way, she isn't capitol hill material.

I agree with everything you just said. But maybe it's just my tiny bit of conscience left that's crying for Sarah Palin. In her recent interviews, she looks stressed out about the $150,000+ clothes issue, Africa and North America issues, etc. It's wrong that anonymous McCain aides are just full out attacking her when really they share the fault in killing the election for McCain (along with President-Elect Obama of course).

She's being treated like shit right now, and she shouldn't be. While she deserves to be criticized for her inferior policies and understanding of government, calling her out for wearing a towel, not knowing about Africa, etc. is just nothing short of a smear campaign. I'm going to stop short here so that I don't get bullshit Chris Crocker responses that'll rape my dreams.
