@ the ak: Call of Duty?
I've only played COD 3 a few times, never mind the other 3, and the ak just looks like it has the same style.
Everybody, chill out. Sure, it's a trace. I'm surprised it even came out that good on a laptop touchpad... originally i was planning to say they could have been better, but i thought he was using a tablet. Now i know, no matter what he used, it's the product that matters in the end, right? Just saying i'm pretty impressed he had the patience to do this with his laptop.
Here're my crits:
-Well first thing i was gonna say was gun detail, but they're traced, so no cigar :C
-I'm really hoping you animated all moving parts on the guns. Glock's pullback, m4 and ak both have moving watchamajiggers (i play fps games... but i'm not a gun freak, so idfk what they're called) on the sides, etc
-Hand is horrible. Straight up, sorry.
-Gun flare was also horrible. two blotches of different colors, one rotated a bit, and resized. No.
-If you're planning to do this in first person, you better be ready for a year or two's work. Full 3d levels/enemies in 2d animation? This'll be a feat as great as Doom95.
-Kayn's right... newgrounders aren't very fond of fps games... especially not if they're gonna be in flash.
-Actually, Kayn pretty much said everything i was gonna say....
Even though i would like the game, personally i would rather spend my time playing counter strike, just because it's bound to be laggy and lack depth, not to mention that there's nobody expecting you to make this multiplayer. Which is why it will fail. Lots of work for little recognition. You're going down a road that will do nothing but screw you over.
Think about it, before you get too deep into this game.
