Lol, Sperm whales go as deep as 3 miles under and you see them doing their flip-flopping in the surface.
At a time monsters were real . but do to the raze and raid act of the 800's , all available knights and warriors were sent out to kill all things that posed a threat to the human race . so if it was bigger than a elephant it had to die . if it was blood thirsty , and preyed on human beings it had to die . but soon after the raze project had taken hold the world started to change . it became known as the raza lagente . the after affect of the genocide of animals had an initial effect of higher birth rates do to so little human consumption . nations wer finally able to be built without worry of being savagley mauled by something 30 feet tall . all seemed well for the humans future . but alas the hunt became boring . there was no more excitment to the veterns of the raza lagente .
it all became routine , then the veterns gathered together to form what was known as sentelo obqelis . a slaughter house for humans . since there were no more supposed monsters the only thing left to kill that was worth any excitement were human beings . but the obqelis began to tire of fighting farm woman and men , so they turned on each other for battle . some people saw this and were inspired , and the tales of the obqelis were spread around the world . soon people started banding together to kill other people , nations started fighting nations , the fun of death had only began , thus was the name War . and from that day foward no matter what caused it , no matter who wanted it ,man had set its destiny into competition of life and death . and the cycle continues till this day . man vs man . who will win?
All Comments I Make Are Complete and Utter Bullshit ... Though They May Seem Factual, Please Don't Take Anything I Say At Face Value.
i would not want to be the one to find out
Someone said that we know more about space than the ocean.
that's wrong.
we know more about the moon than the ocean.
that' s true.
And there are certainly a lot of things that we don't know about.
we probably have an understanding of less than 1% of what's truly going on around us.
And there are things we are yet to discover, for sure.
Like the following thing that was found after the big tsunami that hit a few years back.
Monsters are just big things we don't have names for yet.
n/a
I know they're are! I saw one behind my house. Looked like sasquatch! They're gonna kill us!
I think this may be true. We haven't explored half of our oceans and there are chances that in some of those unexplored parts, there are creatures lurking...feeding on things that pass by when the other things they feed on are not enough. Like in the Bermuda Triangle, when the planes went in and never came back. I have a book about it.
We can't say it's true since we haven't seen it with our own eyes. But there may have been people who have encountered such creatures but were payed by the government to shut up and give them the creature. And the government could be hiding it from us just not to cause public panic.
In case you were interested, We spliced a human and a rabbit together and made a chimera.
Only thing is that it was killed in the zygote stage.
makes you wonder is somebody might of saved one.
I don't believe on REAL real monsters, but maybe on human mind monsters...I mean imagination :D
Except when Dinosaurs lived...maybe they were monsters to us.
And other weird living things in past Evolution...
Sorry for my bad English :D

That picture has been proven false, I forget where it is, but I read the wiki article on it before, if someone could help out here, it'd be great.
I AM THREAD KILLER!
What a bunch of people said. We have not explored nearly enough of the ocean.
Now I don't know about them being that big, but there could definitely be "monstrous" creatures living in the ocean that we don't know about yet.
I hope so, there's no signs of a dystopian future so far!
Well except global warming... trouble in the Middle Ea- you know what forget it, we're fucked anyway =D

Zombies > Monsters.
Zombies are the best.
Did I mention that zombies are better than monsters.

They'd explode if they came to the surface?
Interesting but I'm unsure on how that would happen.
For the same reason we would explode in space without a pressure suit. The only reason we hold together is that fact that the air pressure is pushing us together. Lose that, and we would quite literally fall apart. If a creature lived at a significant depth (by significant, I'm talking about more than 3 miles here, possibly up to 500 miles) then it may well have the same effect when surfacing and losing the intense water pressure at such depths.
Song of the Firefly is on Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter. Give them a look and support the project!

No, it's just all made up by Hollywood.
You laughing at me? YOU LAUGHING AT THE BEST!
I'm sure there could be monster like creatures in the deep sea. It's crazy the kind of shit down there, we just verified that there were 40 foot jellyfish.
But what you have to think about is what defines a monster?
yeah monsters are real, the japs get it all the time.

AVAST! The Count Duke Baron of the entire internet!
It's impossible to find monsters, because if we find one, it will no longer be a monster, but a species
Clown will touch your penis
Well I believe in fairies and monsters exist already. We know nothing about several things in our universe ... Why should mythical beings be any different? I know that someday there will be more proof than a blurry video or photograph of one of these monsters.

An elephant could be a monster... if it was humanities very first time seeing it.
Bump and heres another pic of Concept art
Cthulu is fucking epic.
Maybe when humans explore 100% of the ocean they might find a monster...
Colossal squids, plesiosaurus ( who knows if they still exsist ) bears, they are all basically mosters ; we just give em names and class them.

Most deep sea animals aren't adapted to deal with the extreme pressure changes of surfacing. You'll notice if you ever go fishing in the ocean, the fish come out with their eyes popped out of the sockets. This is because of the rapid depressurization they experience when the come to the surface. Even if the go slowly enough, the low pressure would still be dangerous, like how it's hard for humans to survive at very high altitudes.

You moron. Thgese monsters arnet people, nor any other things we have ever discovered, obviously, . Their whole systems of organs might be very diffrent from ours, or any other species. Learn to think outside the box, dumbshit.
