But I almost caught the zubat but I stepped on my SP :(
I now have Kingler, and used to have pigeot but a asshole started a new game and now only have Kingler male

If it makes you feel any better, the only shiny I ever caught was a Bidoof :( Of course however I had lots of shinies I got off people. Who really gives a fuck about shinies though? They're no better than any other pokemon and the rate to get one is 1 in 8 thousand.

In Pokemon Pearl, I've not only caught a shiny without chaining (a golden Geodude); I've also hatched one (a blue Shuppet). No, I did not use cheating devices.
I consider that a small personal victory.
