Eh screw it, I'll show you guys an in progress. I sitll have to sketch out 30 more images and color all of them...
PART 29 (In-Progress)
I still have a long way to go on this, the backgrounds just blue right now because there are a lot of white components. The way, I got this as a very smooth FBF zoom-in was that I drew an original symbol which was tweened in, then I drew over top of it making all the changes to his hair. The mouth with be added and lip-synced most likely last. I'm not entirely sure if I'm going to draw the rest of the band, but I will have the Red setpiece though. I'm also gonna scribble all over the image to make it look more sketchy.
Also, the reason why his hair is doing all that weird stuff, like I said before, both the inspiration and visual reference for this scene was a "Hair Timeline of Dave Grohl" in an all Foo Fighter addition of the magazine "Metal Hammer". You can keep track of the year as stated on his shirt. :)
