If you could feel no pain, you would bleed to death when you got your first papercut or scratch. However, if you speak of a hypothetican fantasy world where pain has no real life purpose relating to bodily repair, I think I would hook up a gas tube that goes through my arms and out my palms past a lighter flint that i would activate with my thumb. Flamethrower palms ftw!

Pain is an indication from your body that it is hurt. If you cannot feel pain (I'm assuming you are talking physical pain), you would not know when your body is hurt, and then you would probably hurt yourself even more.

What I would do is call a doctor. I don't wanna fuck up my body.

It would be really dangerous to not be able to feel pain.

I mean, there are people that lack nerves or whathaveyou, and therefore cannot feel pain - and they have to be really careful. I remember hearing a story where one of these unfortunate souls was just cooking, looked down and her hand was on fire, and had been roasting for like 30 seconds.

So, no - even though it would be fun to just throw myself around and get into fights without feeling any pain, in the end pain is a good thing. It lets you know when you're injured, and forces you to tend to that injury promptly, begore the situation becomes even worse.

Physical pain tells your body you're damaged, emotional pain (which is different from person to person) tells YOU you're damaged.

Analgesia is actually such a sad condition. Most people don't live past 20 who have it. Even the smallest of things are mediated by pain receptors.
That being said it I couldn't feel pain for a day I'd probably get into a fight with someone I really hate just to teach them a lesson.

I'd just generally start doing painful shit; like jumping down high ledges even if I got injured all that could happen would be a few weeks in hospital.

The general idea of pain is to sense when you're injured. However, that's not how I see it. I think pain is so you fear injury in the future, and avoid getting hurt again. Otherwise, why can't pain be a tolerable sense that still tells you when you're injured? When you think about it I guess that would be impractical because you wouldn't care if you got injured. Its debatable.

If I could not feel pain, I would run as fast as I possibly could without stopping, since the stupid acids in my muscles wouldn't affect me. Woohoo.

A world without pain would be fatal to everyone. That is not to be confused with a world that does not need pain. A world without the need for pain would be very awesome. It is also very possible, regardless of you people and your limited thinking ability.
