My near-death experience - True

So, I'm a runner for a lawyer, meaning I take documents and stuff down to the courthouse. My office is on the top floor, the 12th, so naturally I took the elevator today. I called it up, got in, and pressed the 1 button. I close my eyes and sit down and wait for the slow descent. These elevators take a good minute to go down to the lobby. The doors close, I undo my hairtie, and feel no motion.

Nothing.

I open my eyes and see the doors only halfway close. I stand up, press the Open Door button and get out. I closed the doors manually (by pushing on them) and waited for the other elevator. I sit down and wait for the elevator. I was thinking of taking the stairs, but remembered the only working door is a roof-access-only door (the other one is wedged, it's getting fixed). When the bell rang, I looked up and the same elevator got called (there's two of them). I get in and press the lobby button, and the doors don't close.

Frustrated, I start to walk out, but I here the elevator alarm go off. The doors start to close unusually fast and catch me in the middle. So picture this:

A 14 year old ginger kid stuck in elevator doors about to get crushed to death. I was terrified. If the elevators decided to start working again, I'm dead. Which would suck.

The alarm goes off again, the doors open, and I'm released from death's clutches once again.

I couldn't have. One was wedged in the hinges, the other was a roof access.

I put a ponytail in my hair since it is pretty long. Also, the elevator doors shouldn't close on you they are not all that strong.

Today I was with my friend, and he was keeping me from crossing this busy road 'n stuff, theres no light y'know. So as I'm about to cross, he pulls my sweater and makes me trip. A car almost hit me!
