I am really ticked off because I really hate that people are against gay marriage . Now I'm mainly mad that people are against it for religious reasons. Those people feel that it's their duty to impose their ideals in others. If guys want to marry other guys why is it that religious people need to save other people's souls. If they want to do what they want aren't they going to be punished in hell anyway. So really for everyone who's against gay marriage just lay off, it doesn't affect you.

There's nothing wrong with being gay (There's even a gay-bisexual club at newgrounds), but you should save those kind of thoughts for yourself.

Is this a reaction to the californian state re-illegalising (is that a word?) gay marriage after only a year or so of them legalising it? In my opinion people should be allowed to do what they want so long as they're not hurting anyone, I really don't see the justification in not letting them getting on with it.

Consider that marriage was a creation of religion and that marriage has always been the sole of domain of men and woman exclusively. Marriage doesn't work the same way in all countries for one thing. Sure you can not follow Christianity 100%, but if you go get baptised or something you can't say "On MY conditions blah blah blah and now I'm baptised". I don't know why the same wouldn't apply to the common marriage in the US. Mess with the rules of marriage it isn't marriage anymore, its something you made up. What people don't seem to understand is that gay people aren't looking to get gay marriage because of the same reason as straight couples but the main reason is to do with laws, taxes and so on. For instance, if a gay man dies, unless clearly stated in his will, his belongings will not be passed to his partner but rather his family and if they're deceased...The partner will still not get any share of any money or belongings that was owned by the dead homosexual.

It is not the status quo, it is a rare thing and a bad thing, somewhat akin to being stillborn. His point was that homosexuality is against nature, not that it doesn't occur within it.
