Mr. Kukumber, I would like a charicature of my neighbor, Wilson. He is quite handsome, although he is horribly obese and greasy. He has nice hair, but it doesn't make up for his terrifying and soulless gaze. His visage is actually thoroughly unpleasant to behold for mere mortal eyes, but he brings home smashing fine ladies with lots of make-up on every night, so I guess he is handsome anyway. Don't ask me, I don't understand it.

Recommending Tom Vs SAW by Jon Richardson for the Overlooked Gem Award;

Reason;
It shows a different side to the Saw series an also get you Tom involved which is a funny side, you get to your self in the SAW settings, an the mini game at the very end is near thy impossible.

I think that one should be the "gem". Well, why? I tell why. This animation makes me feel really strange, it makes me feel like Im watching some really scary horror movie, gives me creeps n' stuff. Music is a very good choice, fits perfectly with animation's atmosphere and gives somekind of saddening emotion. The animating part is also done well, overally it seems a really good movie for halloween, especially when you are looking for that strange and mysterious "Halloween feeling".

Silly me for got to explain.

Ded Spays, to my surprise, didn't win anything. This movie was a parody of Dead Space where it was supposed to be the scariest fucking came ever, and everyone over-reacts. The death scene were a absolute LOL. It's a parody, so it won't fit in mostly with the Halloween submittions, but it still holds a good Halloween theme.

i think Corpse Craft is a good game. its like a defense game combined with bejeweled, except you also attack. i also like it's storyline and style. everything is so perfectly fit into the game. The different units and ways of attacking. his zombie-like units are ingenious.

Halloweenie Hero, by tacobuttfish Type: Movie Rating: Ages 17+

I've seen that a few others have already recommended but I think this cartoon definitely deserves a look, it's the funniest and definitely the most original of them all. At least that I saw and the art is superb.

I just noticed the bonus Contest. Sorry if this is a tad late but you did say Monday and it IS still Monday. If I was too late tell me so I can keep it in mind for next time though. Once again my list taking comes to the foreground. I did a spot check and I don't think anyone submitted this so... Here goes.

My single entry (to be described in 4 long *cough* sentences) is,

AnUnimaginativeHalloween, by Rellibogad Type: Movie Rating: Ages 13+

I'll be the first to admit that it's not as good as many of the other Halloween submissions (the animation quality is somewhat poor and static, for starters) but I feel it qualifies as an overlooked gem because of it views (less then 500 as I write this) and the fact is NOT in the Halloween 2008 collection despite a decent score (3.21 as I write this) and also despite it being properly listed as a Halloween submission with a correct preloader (it WAS submitted rather early though).

Aside from that, it's kind of creepy (n a standard way) with eerie music and the environment change where things go all spooky until the ending that gives us a big old Halloween appropriate "BOO!". Seriously man, I bet you cannot find a single other entry with someone saying "boo" in it. :)

In short, while there are probably better animations and this one would never have won a prize in your list, it still got the shaft and it should have AT LEAST been in contention for a prize by being in the Halloween 2008 collection so it could have been viewed while considering who the winners were.

"trick or treat?", by TheBoogley Type: Movie Rating: Ages 13+

I'm sorry, but I love this! It's definitely got style above all else. It's creepy, funny, and twisted all in one. Although the story is a bit below par, the animation flows smoothly together. The dark colors and sound and warped humor makes it perfect for an award of some sort, even if it's just an acknowledgment. Overall, the twisted, creepy humor makes it perfect for a newgrounds audience.

This movie was pretty good!
