Whats the word "Aint" short for?

i know its short for "have not" or "am not" or "isn't" or basically anyway word used in denial. but whats it short for? I'm bamboozled..

a sentence " I aint him" or "I got 99 problems, but a bitch aint one"

You're thinking of it too literally, "ain't" is a common synonym for Isn't that's mostly used by british kids who aren't smart as far as grammar is concerned. It doesn't stand for it.

That's like asking why people don't always capitalize the first word in a sentence.

"Ain't" is a contraction of "am not," like all contractions, it has an apostrophe to show the omission of certain letters, like all contractions do. The fact that someone didn't put the apostrophe there simply means they are a) retarded or b) lazy.

Just like the fact that you aren't using correct capitalization or punctuation means that you're just lazy (or possibly retarded, as stated above), not that it's not supposed to be there.
