Great job to the winners, and even the follow-ups (not really to them, though).

Two years in a row and I didn't win once. Fuck this, I'm never craving something for newgrounds again.

I was going to make a kickass pumkin but my interenet was down so I couldnt get a picture of like blockhead or some shit like that.

Great pumpkins, I think my favourite is the madness one. Though that Dirge one is still bloody impressive.

Just curious, my Halloween Flash hasn't been put in the collection, will it still be considered? Not that I expect to win or anything (no chance!), but it would be nice to know it was looked at.

The comments from the judges were fair, my carving and shading were off. The brighter bit is where I tried to show shading, but it looked shitty, so I stopped. Unfortunaly you can't Ctrl+Z on a pumpkin.

I'm happy to be below the top 3, they were truely immense (ReNaeNae's especially, the precision of the carving is unrivaled). PhantomZ's entry didn't show much carving, but didn't need to with a setup like that. It's nice to see some originality, some 'thinking outside the box'. He deserved that spot. ArkySB's Steve was just downright awesome.

Thanks to all the judges gave their comments, though I think I'm gonna go and cry at Mindchamber's. :'(

Thanks. Yours was good too, simple, but well carved and precise. The idea of using marker pen was really good, it's nice to see users bringing in new ideas.

The Dirge pumpkin that got first place was very smooth and well-carved, but I liked the second place winner more because of its creativity. It would never have crossed my mind to make pumpkins the heads of Madness Characters.
