Finished it yesterday and I'm just doing everything on it now, god I love it. Whats everyones favourite guns? The bloody alien blaster near the UFO is immense, and the nighthalk the old lady gives you is also the sex.
I want the updated version of the fatman...But it takes to long to get methinks, even though it's like a nuke shotgun.

I just started playing again. This time, I'm just wandering the Wastes instead of following the main story. And, I'm having a lot more fun.

But still, having the highest karma level can get boring after a while.

Yeah I have noticed that with these types of games. If you do all the side quests, the ending is SO MUCH MORE WORHT IT.

I'm only around level 6 and I've got so much karma that the Talon Company has offered I think 10,000 Bottlecaps for my head. Now every time I go near the Sewer Waystation, Talon Company mercs try to jump me. Does this affect any missions I was supposed to do?

I'll join, I preordered it and got it on release date. It's probably one of the best games I've played and it lives up to the hype. I'm level 17 and have very good karma, I just couldn't blow up Megaton. :(

SO now I am going to try to find every little mission there is, but that is impossible since most missions are choosen if you have bad or good karma.. for example, if you blow up megaton, then you dont have access to most of the megaton missions. :o

*minor spoiler*
I told Lucas about Mr Burke, and Mr Burke shot Lucas, so I had to reload a previous save and just let him disappear back to tenpenny tower or wherever.

So anyway, just got to Rivet City, also, just finished the quest "Those" (fire ants ffffffs), and almost done the Wasteland Survival Guide, just gotta do one more chapter.

Yeah, the waste land survival guide is the best quest ever... but I blew up megaton so that is history for me. >:(

I can always start a new game though... when you start a new game, do you keep all of your stats from the last one? :o

She does, i'm not sure if she is ghoulified, because it looks like she has just lost alot of skin and her voice is still the same. She doesn't even seem phased that she is burnt beyond repair.

For the Wasteland book quest thing, I just convinced her not to continue making it, achievement unlocked, easy.

I am currently in the works to retake creative writing at college, and write a fan fic, but based on the perspective of the "Mysterious Stranger" (Mysterious stranger perk). She will be this slave chick who escapes Metzger's slave pen, or better still, she's just bored of life in Klamath, and "Stalks" the hero, gets involved in some of the hero's side quests.

Oh this is from Fallout 2... I was sorta inspired by the Lenny Story line, where he wishes he could particpate in Part 1, but ends up comming in part two.

Nope. This is why you keep multiple saves.
The Wasteland Survival Guide was a damn hastle. Luckily, through speech challenges, I was able to complete just a small portion of the quest.

Quests aren't hard to find. You can complete each one in about 20 minutes to an hour depending how elaborate you want to be.

So far the only quest that remains to be completed is The Nuka-Cola Challenge.

By doing good deeds like completing quests, listening to what the people tell you to do during the quests, and killing REALLY evil guys.

Be careful about the killing though.. cause most of them actually bring DOWN your karma.

I killed Mr Tenpenny for that sniper he has, then Mr Burke attacked so I took him down, got good karma for both of them and no one gives a shit? Is this normal.

Another way to get easy karma is to give purified water to the guy outside of Megaton. It never restores as much HP as a Stimpak, so if you have that item and need good karma, you might as well do it.

Can't, killed him for being a dick. But I'm all good now.

Finally have enough caps, stimpacks and ammo to keep me going, and I have some power fist and a sweet ass sword.

Well, I've got very good karma and the people of Megaton shower me with gifts, such as noodles, Rad-X, and the occasional Stimpak. That's a reason for being the good guy.
