According to Wikipedia, the downloadable content scheduled for this Winter is only for the PC and Xbox 360.

Oh hell yeah. All of their downloadable content has always been open world. *expansions anyway* I am talking about for Oblivion. All of the past games they made as well.
So if they havent made an extra that isnt open world, then I am positive that this one will still be.

There's a bunch of whole bunch of plot holes in the end. *obvious spoilers* 1. The guy who offered to go into a place that was even more radiated than the Jeff. Memorial, (and I remind you that you have to have good karma to get him) refuses to go in. They could have at least made him stupid and keep forgeting the password. 2. Stupid radiation can't kill me when I use Rad-Away after every number. 3. No plot hole with Lyon. Surprising.

I was fairly pissed when I beat it and I couldn't continue playing. I figured that once the main story line was over I'd still be able to finish all the side quests. Alas, I cannot. Hopefully once they release G.E.C.K. and some nice user generated content comes into the game I'll be able to get interested in the game again.
But nonetheless, can I join this club? :P

So my buddy scooped up Fallout 3 today for $48, and now we've cranked it up and just exited the vault. We're takin a piss, drink, and bong hit break at the moment. I've never played any other Fallout, but this one is pretty gnarly so far!

But can't PS3 people download mods? Yes. Yes you can. So, I would take that over DLC anyday. The first DL will be a few combat scenarios set in Alaska and is probably not open ended. The second is set in Pitsburg (I think) and does have an open world. (once again, I think)
