What??? I don't understand the question.
What does Broken Steel have to do with The Pitt?

Quick question. I loved, and I mean LOVED Oblivion, not just because how it worked but because of the enviorment and how it engulfed me into a world I absolutely loved. I saw my lil bro play FO3 and I had to say I didn't care for it. It seemed like it operated the same way Oblivion did, except the setting was really backwards, twisted, and ugly...not my style. Do you think I'd like FO3?

Do you want a maybe-semi-realistic view or atmosphere of a post-apocalyptic world, where everything was nuked and destroyed? If yes, you might like it. The setting is different, Oblivion is in a different world where there is magic, while FO3 is in a post-nuclear war Washington D.C.(200 years after the war ended). And there are less people there, since nearly everything is dead.

If you are not into a post-apocalyptic world, then its not for you if you only care about the environment.

I am a huge fan of Oblivion and I would like to inform you that Elder Scrolls V (probably on Skyrim) will be for release at 2010-2013.

You are right. The way of the environment is very nice and it Fallout 3 looks like a deserted Oblivion(no one can copy the beauty of the forests when there are no quests and everyone is friendly).

You are doing good choices by admiring these games.

Do you mean the one that's up north west, along the craggy rocks, where you have to drop down to it, and it's really hard to actually hop your way up there? That's the place where you can go to participate in this sort of gauntlet where they send a few waves of ghouls at you that you have to kill. It's not very hard (Even on the Very Hard difficulty) if you're upper twenty's in level. When you beat it, if you talk to the ghoul that's running the show, he'll present you with the Dismemberer, a hopped up Axe that does more damage then the regular axe.

ha nope thats not what i mean, i did that on very hard, and killed the other two guys before starting for the extra challenge, i just used my fully repaired plasma rifle, and took them all out with one shot in vats other than glowing ones, which took a couple shots. It was fun.

Actually I think he means the old haunted mine where that kid lives.

im guessing this guy is correct. I dont know anything about the kid, but im going in there now, so no need to explain further.

my other question still stands on where i can get a lot of speech challenges, i think i need 6 more for the achievement

thanks in advance.

Did you beat the game yet(before Broken Steel), if not, finish Take it Back and try to convince the Enclave leader there to give up.

If you did already, you can just try going to Little Lamplight, find Knock Knock(the kid with a police hat), and listen to her jokes, then choose the speech option(I am wondering if you have a good enough speech level to have it work 100%, if so good). Then say things about why not tell some new stories, and then tell her not now. Then, ask about morale, and the joke again, pick the one that says [Speech x%] <lie>. Then, you say the same thing. Keep on doing this. AFAIK, this challenge never disappeared after she told me that joke around 20-30 tries, and I always lied to her about the joke. That helped me get the Speech Challenge achievement.

There's a damage glitch on Point Lookout. Try using a 10mm Pistol, then a Plasma Rifle.

Also, I was devastated. Reilly slept with Butcher. Then I cut his head off.

Nope. I actually didn't even know they came out in that order. I got sick of running around doing a whole lot of nothing while Liberty Prime, the Brotherhood, and the Enclave were duking it out at the memorial. So I pretty much just stopped playing until I saw The Pitt/Op. Anchorage in gamestop. I logged onto XBox Live to see what else was new, so I downloaded Broken Steel first because I heard it jumped your level cap to thirty, did all that I could in that, and THEN bought Pitt/Anchor, I bought PL about a week after that.

i feel fucking retarded, because i was well aware of the glitch, i just didn't think about it. i am so fucking pissed im gonna take a break from fallout for a while..

anyone else have a moment where a game pisses them off so bad, they dont want to play until a week or even longer has passed?

That is why I save, I managed to get all 100 ingots. That sucks that you got 60 more, and then it decided to show the finger and say fuck you by giving you the roof glitch.

Hell, is it me or does each DLC and patch just introduces more bugs in the game and the other DLC's? Hopefully, when they release the PS3 versions of the DLC, they patch the 360 and PC version of the DLC and Fallout 3(AND NOT ADD ANOTHER FUCKING DLC).

The only 2 achievements I have left is the level 14 and 20 Neutral Karma achievements(even though it says 62 out of 68, I already did the Point Lookout achievements).

I was pissed when the Firelance random encounter happens, but I couldn't find the fucking weapon itself.

Are you sure? When I find glitches I ussually try more.

Well, I bet that this happens occasionaly but I don't think Fallout can be so annoyning:/

At my PC I have not seen even a small Fallout glitch. Maybe it is that I am lucky... or my Fallout version is very good.

Wait... the winter version dosn't degrade? Why the hell have I been running around with hellfire armour that I keep spending caps to repair then?!!!!

Wish I would have realized that.

After Op. Anchorage though, I usually wear the stealth suit unless i'm just running around aimlessly through the wastes.

I prefer the Hellfire anyway since it's more damage resistant and I don;t actually feel like I'm cheating when I wear it.

Well I like the stealth suit because it gives me the option to at least see what's in a room before I just go in guns blazing. I really hate when I turn a corner and run into a room with six muties, and a shotgun trap.
I'm not too worried about DR though. I have almost a thousand stim packs, so If I start getting low on health I just pop a few, and take a Med X for good measure.

Trying to rerpair your armor every now and then is very annoying.

I've never had that... problem??? It could be because you're shooting, and you have to reload before you can hit the B button. (I play X360) You have to wait for the reload scene to play its coarse before you will go into your menu. I just watch my ammo, and stop if i'm about to die, but i'm down to like one more shot.
Another coarse of action is to find something to hide behind. Wall, rock, ALREADY blown up car. That sort of thing. Pop up, throw off a few shots, duck back down. If needed use a stimpack, Rinse Repeat. The only thing this method won't work on is the beheamoths (Except for the fountain glitch outside of GNR Studios.) Those you just have to constantly strafe sideways, and hope they don't hit you.
