Hey guys! I just rented Fallout 3. I didnt even know about it. I saw it and it looked cool, so i rented it. Well anyway, I just got out of Vault 101 and am now starting to adventure into the amazing vast world it has to offer. The clever game play style lets you roam as you please, such as in previous Bethesda Studio games like Oblivion: The Elder Scrolls IV. This game is so amazing, and I know others will think the same thing.

I decided to create an official fan club where we can just talk about the game!!!

Damn, ya beat me to it. Though I would probably say make this thread the Fallout series fan club, since the other 3 were pretty fun and need to be played in order to get all of the Fallout 3 subtle nudges to the original turnbased fun. So long as this doesn't turn into the unbumped room escape club, I'll join.

MINI SPOILER. meaning no plot details, just a quest you have to do.

A newer-er vault unknown to you before. Power armor isn't as awesome as it used to be in the originals and the "scounderal" perk is a must.

I havent found any other vaults yet.. in fact I have just began to touch the map! Dang I have a lot of stuff to do...

Just in case other people have beaten the game, does anyone else feel the game's endings are bullshit?

I mean, you go in the rads filled control room (which isn't even at lethal levels), and you die and the game ends.

You send in Lyons, and the game still ends.

You can even ask Fawkes, the super virtually immune to radiation mutant, who acts like a douche and says no when you ask him to go into the room, enter the code, and come out fine.

WTF Bethseda? No continous play?

Though I do like whatever the people who decided no continous play were on, and where can I get some?

***END MAJOR SPOILERS***

TL;DR Version:

Do not finish last main quest (Its when the Lyons' Pride are meeting with Elder Lyons and Scribe Rothchild) until you do everything else in the game first.

Not as in depth as FO3 but in Bioshock, System Shock 2, and Deus Ex: The Invisible War, they let you choose your path and how you play the game. i.e; sneaky, shoot 'em up, ect.

When I did that, I got to live inside the fancy rich people tower, and then I convinced them all to let ghouls live in the tower. NOW I OWN THE PLACE AND ITS A HAUNTED MANSION! Sweetness.

Man, I killed the ghoul when I went to the intercom for the first time. I hate Tenpenny Tower as is. In the middle of nowhere, and I have to take an elevator up to it. If only, if only.

I couldn't find the power fist thing. I looked all over the store (isn't it in the bathrooms?) but I couldn't find it. Sigh. I beat the game without any weird weapons either. Whatashame.

There are SO many different paths you can take its ont even funny. You can kill the ghoul, let him into attack everyone in the rich towers, let him live there without killing everyone... usually thats the way it goes with everything. More than 2 choices,

That's not its real location.

Flak in Rivet City sells it, or you could go into the Trepin sewers, its entrance is near Dukov's place, OR you could get it from The Citadel, OR from a trader in the Underworld.

Think of it this way;

What if you asked America to wear the NAZI uniform just becasue it gave them another tank. People can be too proud to do that stuff. Oh, and the outcast armor looks waaay cooler and has the same defence so, yeah. Can't blame 'em.

No REAL spoilers there, but if you dont want to know about Fort Independence, then don't read this.

Oh! THATS HOW YOU GET POWER ARMOR TRAINING! Lol, it is so much worth it if you break into Fort Independence. I just broke in and 4000 caps worth of weapons. The plasma rifle shoots this green beam that can kill any raider in just 2 hits if you use the A.I. thing. If you don't have enough AP, then just aim for the head! ; )

Once I broke in, I kled everyone and put all their armor inside a safe so it wont dissapear. I am about to find the best one there is and wear it, but I am only at level 9. P.S. GET BLOODY MESS NEXT LEVEL UP!!! IT IS SO FUNNY.

i recently found a very rare armour called medic prototype power armour. it's a very good set of armour and right now it has 40 damage reduction at 75% condition. you can find it at old olney sewers (in old olney) which is in the general northeast corner of the map. the armour talks to you and gives you an advantage by telling you if an enemy is attacking you and it will atomatically give you radx when needed.

and another piece of imformation in the country of dave meusem you can find the persuation booblehead
just wanted to share this find and this awesome armour

can anyone confirm whether this armor exists? I'm too busy with a quest a moment to find out.

Sorry but I JUST got the game. I only have one bobblehead and not much rare armor. I found Metal Armor, but I am sure this is common.

The only REAL rare thing I found was the sexy room package, where you get a heart shaped bed, a lesbian sculpture, and tons of candles and lights lol.
