Lets put it this way. I put my music up i check in on my account to see how the track is doing. "Oh awesome! someone voted a 5!" I check a half hour later... "wow it went from a 5 to a 1.8 in 2 votes"
this bothers me seeing that usually the first voter leaves a comment saying great work 9/10
then the next voter gives me a 0 for no reason at all. I dont even know if the person who gave the zero even listened to my track. I think he just votes thinking that I voted for myself a 5 to start my rating off and then is doing his act of justice to down the 5 instead of truly listening and voting on the content.
when in the long run when this happens the track ends up in nowheres land the next day to never be voted on again.
Who else has this problem?

we should try and construct a new voting system for music or there should be a music player on this site that kind of plays like pandora but through the genre of your choice and then users vote based on whether they like the track or not. and to create an even playing field the name of track and artist would only be revealed if they favorite the song.

simple solution: ask people to check your track out and C&C it.
ultimately your score doesn't mean jack, what helps YOU in the end are the comments and critique, so don't freak out so much over the score

Sanity is grossly overrated and detrimental to the creative process.

Posting in the forum, sadly, will not aid your problem, but if you really feel you must share the fact that zerobombers are pricks with others, there's this thread.

But hey, if it's making my ears bleed I have no other reason to vote anything else.

It'd be sweet if we went a week without another zero voting thread.

The thing is, when I see one of these threads I think "oh, the thread creator must be overtly obsessed with scores, & can't be bothered to check the forum for similar topics". Whether this is correct or not, it's putting me in a critical mindset when I go to listen to the songs themselves (though I'd never give a low score "just cuz"). Threads like this aren't helping you out...
