So I got a phonecall yesterday from a mate of my brothers, a guy called George, he was completely drunk but he was like;
"Gags, Gags (yes it's an irl nickname too), have you seen Salad Fingers?"
I think I mentally froze for a little bit, seriously. It just felt weird hearing someone I know irl say the words of something that is a cult flash on my favourite website.
So of course I tell him that I have.
"Tell your brother, tell Dan, that he needs to watch it! Ah I knew you'd know it! 'I like it when the red water comes out', 'Rusty spoons'." He kept quoting in his drunken state.
Now the phonecall ended rather abruptly before I could ask him where he had watched them, more likely youtube. I tried to mention fat-pie.com on the phone but he seemed out of it, and haven't heard of the other cartoons David Firth has made. Suddenly though all I could think after the call was;
'Oh my god.. What if he watched them on Newgrounds? What if he has an account? What if he checks out the forum and notices the name Gagsy. He'll know that's me, seeing as he's one of the people who have called me that since we were kids. Oh my god, I may have to calm down on my posting!"
Seriously real life and the internet need to stay separate =(
Anyone else had weird real life vs internet stories? Ones with stupid /b/tards are always welcome.
