Old(ish) Cartoons

I just bought Beavis and Butt-head Volume 2, and Found some of my old Ren and Stimpy VHS tapes.
Why are all new cartoons boring, like, with old cartoons, adults could watch it and enjoy it. Bug Bunny is a great example, everyone seems to like it. With new cartoons, only kids like them. I dunno... why dont they make cartoons like they used too?

Because they try to make cartoons for child audiences, whereas in the 90's, they didn't really pay attention to this.

No... some cartoons such as the old Mickey Mouse from the 30s to 60s have appeal to all people. And Looney Tunes too.

Even to people who don't watch cartoons.
Perhaps it's because they're so beautifully made, and have so many good stories. And... they're rather mature. Not simplified like some of the newer kids stuff.

As a kid, I used to watch Disney shorts such as "The Old Mill."
And my parents, who never saw cartoons growing up, liked them because they're so dramatic and well made.

But stuff like Pokemon-- there's no maturity in it, and so only kids like it.
I mean, look at The Old Mill and tell me that that can't be enjoyed by a wide range of audiances.

Its because kids now are all hyped up on sugar and have short attention spans. the only thing thats funny to them is when people say retarded things like poop and when cartoon characters vomit.its pretty gross now. its all about snot and stuff. pretty much all the jokes are 4 seconds long because the companies know that kids are so messed up now that they have to make the jokes that long, or else they will be like, "ooh look, a bird!!!" and take their focus off of the cartoon because of a bird outside the window.
