Frontpage news posts

How many flashes, or how many BA, do I need to make a frontpage post?

I though that it was 3

As far as I know, BA has nothing to do with it. To make a front page news post, you need to have one some trophies, either Daily or Weekly (excepting Turd and Underdog). I'm not sure how many you need, it may only be one, but I imagine it's more than that.

God, this system confuses me to certain ends, too.

I was able to make front page posts for a small time period (one or two weeks?), even though I was only co-authored on a submission (below)

From that point on, in the blogs section, all my posts would go under the 'artist news and updates' section rather than the 'the riff raff' section.

So my guess is that all you really need is a good-scoring flash in the portal, and depending on how well it did (awards and such), you'll still be able to post news on the front page.

Yes, people who don't submit flashes but submit audio can make frontpage news posts too ;)

I thought it was only if you've submitted something that's been front paged can you make a post on the front page, although I'm not sure. It would be nice if someone could clear this up. :3

You need at least 1 award on flash (No underdog, turd or rcp) or have your audio on the frontpage of audio.
There could be other ways but I don't know about them.

How does one get audio on the front page?

Mods are the ones who choose which audio gets frontpaged ;)
