I dislike Russell Brand a lot anyway so I was glad to see him fuck up again. Toodles.

No doubt we'll be seeing him on Channel 4 for a new late night weekend adulty quiz show with celebs now though.

As far as I know, Gordon Brown didn't tell Russell Brand to resign. And David Cameron was more concerned about the fact that the show went on air. Now Brand has left and Ross has earned a three month suspension, hopefully heads will roll within the BBC itself. The show never should have been broadcast, and I think that the editor/s who let it out should lose their jobs.

I think that two things that should be made clear are:
1)The fact that it is so easy for people like Ross & Brand to bully people like Sachs, i.e. the older generation (if anyone can explain to me why Ross & Brand did what they did, I'd like to hear them).
2)The fact that it took so long for the BBC to listen to public opinion. It is no longer concerned about "giving the public what they want".

They are illegal, I think, try checking "Harassment" or something.

Although I think Russell Brand is alright he should have known better than to do this, everything in the broadcasting industry is ridiculously uptight and he's been in entertainment long enough to know offensive jokes cause an upstir amongst people high up enough to do something about it. Personally I think it is the fault of the producers though, as because the show was prerecorded they were the ones to make it go out and they could have simply have cut it out.

Random: Russell Brand asked for some chick at my college's number when she was out getting coffee during a free period only a week before this fuss came about, and Jonathons daughter Betty goes to there as well, it's a small fucking world lol.

People are completely overeacting over this. It sickens me that most people haven't even heard the broadcast, but still complain about it. It wasn't very lewd at all actually, and was kinda funny.

I just think he got caught up in it all, he came on to do a live show and didn't know what was happening, he joined in and i'll be the first to admit that was wrong, but russell actually put planning into his part, he knew from the minute he started all that crap about having a live interview with the guy what he was going to do, Yes, i think Jonathan should be punished, but I think russell has got away with this far too lightly.

I mean think about it, if you carried away in argument get into a fight and end up killing someone the punishment is alot less that if you had planned everything out and bought a gun beforehand with the intention of going to kill someone.
