I personally could do without. The first one wasn't much in my opinion, neither was the second.
3 had the most merit in my eyes, having gotten rid of the Wayans brothers and their incipiently unfunny and predictable gay and cock jokes and replacing them with slapstick sight-gag veteran of both Hot Shots movies, Mr. Carlos Irwin "Charlie Sheen" Estévez. Part 4 had it's moments, but overall was it necessary?
Well none of that seems to matter now because the 4th sequel is on the move and it appears all hope for humanity may be lost. Maybe I'm just being pessimistic, but on the other hand I love Leslie Nielson. But even the sliver-haired god father of spoof can't possibly save this sinking ship on his own. I mean for God's sakes, Hulk Hogan is in it too.
Leslie Nielsen and Hulk Hogan? Fuck I'm going to see it. I'm not joking either.
