Agreed. Most of my pr0n is a lot larger than I'm given room for, and it'd be a shame to have some of it cut off.

A user is hated by everyone, we have a weekly mass lynching thread, which would work sort of like the short story "The Lottery".

The hated person gets a thread devoted to them, where they are berated, insulted and abused, and finally banned, if they can't withstand the heat.

A weekly sacrifice, if you will...

50K is way more than generous. 50k is not for MSpaint Mpegs. I can understand why the limit is so high, for animated gifs. and HQ penis pix, but some people need to pwnxorz the Irfan those .jpegs down to size.

I've heard you get an edit button once you get 6000 posts. And for the picture thing, you could always just post a link if you NEED the pic to be big. Most forums don't let you post pictures AT ALL, so 50k is good for me.

yes, the 50k is a good limit, but it would be nice if the dimensions were a bit bigger... rather than having to crop and adjust the image size... oh well, im no artist anyway....

1. There should be an option to either upload an image to the BBS (which takes up space on the server) or post a link to an image (with a maximum dimensions if need be, or a ban for posting a huge pic)

2. Smileys would be helpful to portray emotions more clearly, a basic array of smileys work the best, I find.

Then again there are only two real smilys here. Happy and really pissed off. The other things are just icons. My little crummy site has more emots than that. I guess they just don't want beople going smily crazy.

Being able to view the forum in it's old layout would be good. I like the new layout and all, but the old one would load faster for me.

That would be more convenient than saving images so that you can post them, but would undoubtedly result in loads of broken image links and "X'd" pics.

I think I read before that this wouldn't be implemented because it would make the bbs look messy and would be just plain annoying if people couldn't see some pictures posted.

Smilies are a good idea though :)

yah thats what i ment, to be able to post bigger px pictures, i rarely ever get the over 50K limit error.

Hello people!!!..NG needs bigger sigs, flash sigs, edit button, emoticons, and Image URL linking...Meh I am sure that is not the name for it...But what I want is lets say I find a pic that is on some ones site and I don't feel like saving it but still want to show it to you people...so I type <img> the url to the pic</img> Just like in Sticksuicide and allot of other forums. Also maybe you can save your pic on your site and Direct it to NG if it is bigger then 50 k :D

That runs the risk of displaying a broken image, if the URL is inncorrect, or if the image host is down. Also its harder to restrict dimensions when the image isnt hosted by the main server.

I know that this has nothing to do with the BBS but I was thinking about the front page and how much myself and a few others miss the music. Maybe it wouldn't hurt if the best submissions in the audio portal each day was played on the front page, or better 5 of the best audio portal submissions could be played on the front page each day or two, all there could be buttons, 1.2.3.4.5 for example, and each button we pressed could play a different song, just an idea.
