How do I fix it?

Get some antivirus tools. Avast, AVG Free, Norton, etc, preferably all at once. They have different databases, they find different viruses. If you'd elike removing it manually you can always check to see which processes you don't recognize and shut them down, search for the files and delete them, check to see all newly used or changed files in your WINDOWS directory, etcetc. It could be adware too, so you should download something like Lavasoft Adware as well. Good lucks.
You could use Naud32. ( I thinks that's what its called) It wipes your computer and is also a security system.

Two words: Get AVG.

Nod32 it is.
AVG you can download it off download.com.. i used to have a pc and i used that and it wored really well... now i have a mac so i dont have to worry much about viruses

dont listen to this asshole.. BTW Jon4life i hope you get banned for that
Too bad.
Suggestion: Get good virus defence program.
Sorry for my bad English :D
nod 32 is great, my friend gave it to me and ive had no problems with it,
in not sure if there is a retail version or not...
i use nod32, works good. i used the free version of AVG before, almost just as good.

lolno. ATM I'm using one, and it's the worst. Sometimes the keyboard stops working, it plays videos and flash games in the shittiest quality possible, and it takes 1000000000000 milleniums to load a single web page. Everytime I open up photoshop, it freezes. And it's not because it has too much stuff, just 15 programs. Macs are electrical hell.
I HATE MAAAACS
They fucking fail.
ALSO, I think I now know what the virus that's assraping my computer is. It's Vundo. I read about it on Wikipedia, and I saw it in my virus scans. I think I could try vundofix, but I'm scared of using my computer right now.
Anyone reccomend any good anti trojan programs that will delete this?

Give linux a try, it can run flash up to version 8 and the new versions in a virtual machine.
I once got a virus on my comp... Norton did nothing but AVG Free got rid of it. Like Cyberdevil said, each program takes care of different viruses... Don't get me wrong, Norton is great for detecting when you're downloading or installing a virus which has saved me many times but if you already have a virus installed, I'd go for AVG Free. :)
McAffee (sp? I don't know) is what I've been using for a while. Personally, I think it's the best out there.
get Avast AntiVirus it always helps me when im having virus problems

Naw, I should try to fix the computer. Also it's really hard to use this mac and get used to it, so getting a linux would be a pain to learn how to use. I've been using windows computers ever since I was 2 years old, and to switch to ANOTHER operating system would be a pain in the anus.
Just tell me how to get rid of vundo.

First off, macs suck, dont ever resort to apple. (not even iPods they suck major ass)
Secondly, get AVG. Its prolly the best one out there and it deletes everything I ever get!
The Stoner's Club
Current PC: Windows 7 Ultimate, AMD Radeon HD 6320, 4GB RAM, 1.25TB HD, 1.65GHz AMD APU
AVG is just awesome. Totally Unbeatable.

I lack surprise. God, when will kids realise that the topic starter does NOT want to fucking switch to a different operating system and the topic starter does NOT want a fucking debate about if Macs are good or not.
Oh, and I'm surprised Linux was mentioned but even then, I will assume the topic starter will be incapable of using Linux since he's incapable of getting rid of viruses.
This too will pass.
Memento mori
I'm sorry but Norton........... just........ sucks get another one MacAfee is also pretty crap.
.
When I get a virus, I put my computer in the oven for a few hours. It works like a charm.

Norton is as effective as unicorn sausages. It sucks. Period.
Try AVG or Kaspersky (though the latter can screw things up, just download it, scan, remove, uninstall).
At 10/25/08 04:43 AM, Prekesh wrote: Get a Mac
They don't have less viruses, they have less users, meaning less people care about making viruses for it. Fact is, since they have so little viruses, they also have very little security, making the possibilities of creating a virus that does devestating damage is much larger with a Mac.
Delete syst- oh wait.
Go get an anti-virus like AVG, you can get one on download.com

Calm down, it's impossible to delete your own system32 folder without some kind of program or batch file. ;)
