I absolutely hated it the first time watching it. Then I watched it more and more and it grew on me.

I have yet to read the book, which I should probably do sometime soon.

What did you think of Pulp Fiction then?

Far better movie. I like pretty much every movie Tarantino has made with the exception of Death Proof and Jackie Brown.

Walk in silence,
Dont walk away, in silence.
See the danger,
Always danger,
Endless talking,
Life rebuilding,
Dont walk away.

Walk in silence,
Dont turn away, in silence.
Your confusion,
My illusion,
Worn like a mask of self-hate,
Confronts and then dies.
Dont walk away.

People like you find it easy,
Naked to see,
Walking on air.
Hunting by the rivers,
Through the streets,
Every corner abandoned too soon,
Set down with due care.
Dont walk away in silence,
Dont walk away.

Shiit. Copy and pasted the wrong thing.

What i meant to say directed at cHunter. Is what made Pulp Fiction better than Clockwork for you?

I feel that Pulp fiction had the same thing going for it (kind of) that you think Clockwork Orange did.

Both are great yet the movie lacks when compared to the book. The movie is based on the American version of the book, which does not contain the last chapter, in term decreasing the value of the movie. The issues discussed in the movie <is it better to be evil by choice, or forced to be good> are of course worthy of discussion.

The movie was good, but it always makes me feel really bad. There is jo mistake in saying it is one of the greatest films ever made.

I first saw the movie when a friend of mine gave me a really shit quality version he had pirated, and insisted that i watch it. At first I though he was joking, but it really grew on me so I bought the dvd and saw it like 20 times in 6 months, after which I was given the book as a christmas present.

In a lot of ways I prefer the book to the movie, but some parts of the book could never be properly translated to cinema because of the disturbing violence. Especially since this film was released in 1971, I can understand why the rape scene involving 10 year old girls was altered for screen.

But if you can look past all of the violence, both the book and film give you so much to think about in terms of humanity and how people operate.

This is filler text.
