Dead Space!

I saw the commercial on TV about this really frightening video game called ''Dead Space''. Is it really that frightening , cause they say it's the most scariest game of the year.

All my friends on my PS list recommended it to me..Im getting one of them to let me borrow it..

Sounds good if I had over 30 people recommend it.

I have it and beat it, and am playing it through again. I would definetaly recommend you get it. Really tense and frightning.

Oh , yeah , well , I'm really glad to hear that. For a second , I thought that the commercial on TV was just to try to get people to play it by saying how scary it is , but now I know that it really is intensive and frightening!

I don't get the hype.... true, I've never played the game, but the story and gameplay mechanics seem about as new and as exciting as sliced-bread.

I hear the game is good... but I just can't force myself to get excited about yet another game where an unsuspecting vistor to a space station finds himself in the middle of a violent Alien/Virus outbreak.

Might as well kidnap his girlfriend while you're at it. Oh wait...

Well, there IS a thread on this very subject. I as well as others certainly disagree with "scariest game EVAR/ of the year". To me personally, it wasn't even a LITTLE scary.

Its not "scary" its a thriller. You may find a couple parts where you jump up, but its amostly using a "scare/thrill tacit" via the music, atmosphere etc.
