Well yeah, Every other plant and animal in Australia is poisonous. And everyone of them is dangerous. Australia still rocks though.
I live in NZ which is next to Aussie and Aussie isn't how you think it is.
It's a very urban, western and civilised country. And in the cities there are no massive as spiders or snakes or anything like that.
However they do have massive flying cockroaches.
To find big spiders and shit like that you'd have to go to a zoo or the west side of Aussie.
They do have the odd spider in the city but not big ones like that. It's incredibly rare to find one in your backyard.
If Heavy Metal is so evil, why would God create it? BECAUSE I FUCKING TOLD HIM TO, BITCH!!

Eh... that's an extremely rare incident - I've lived in Australia all my life, at two different sides of the country and have NEVER seen a spider that big.

What size are the big spiders you regularly see?

Well, most places over here there are hardly any spiders, but the usual big ones are huntsmans and they're not even that big.
Are they somewhat comparable to the european house spider?

Huntsman on the left, European House Spider on the right. You be the judge.

You obviously do not have arachnophobia, as you cannot even spell the word, in my opinion.
Somebody post some Brown Recluse, that's always a neat party trick.
