Holy shit I just woke up and it's gone, it's the one in the very back so it just slid right off whenever it came off the wire... The only place it could've gone is my stomach. Now I'm really worried, what if it cut my intestines or something? I know it's not very likely... I can be a bit of a hypochondriac sometimes I guess. I'm slightly delirious right now, as I said I just woke up and it's the middle of the night. Just asking if anyone's heard of this happening and is it safe. (srs answers plz)
also, STFU, I know I'm lame for having braces at 18, I should be getting them off...
here's what the fucker looks like:

I've found something here that made me feel better.
Swallowing braces or other appliances used during orthodontic treatment tends to occur relatively infrequently. This is because the braces and bands are normally still attached to the wire if they become loosened from a tooth. However, if it does occur, it is best to seek advice from the orthodontist and physician right away. Fortunately, the braces and rubber bands used for orthodontic treatment are quite small, and the patient will usually pass them without difficulty.
okay i've come to my senses, /thread please.
Braces suck, I got them a few days ago. It doesn't hurt much but when I eat, it hurts a lot (I had a burger when I first got it lol). Anyway, they have sharp edges and cut my cheeks and lips so I needa put on this dumb wax stuff. They absolutely suck, I can only eat soup :(
