How about you try it out? Even if you don't have long ones, shove some tweezers up there, you're bound to get something. I like pulling it really slow, so my eyes water. Once it finally comes loose, you're nose feels itchy. Pure bliss. The only bad part is that when you're done with all of them they take a while to grow back. That's when I switch to nipple hairs.

I'm lucky, I got short nose hairs so I don't need to trim/pluck.
but I do have hair that grows off the top of my right ear, I have to pluck those every now and then

Yup three black hairs on the top of my right ear, the longest I've let them go without noticing was about 1/2 an inch
