There is something wrong when it comes to you and proportions. I think you may need to get some counselling together. It's really as if, when it comes to painting a picture, you pick that precise moment to quietly mention to the misses that you don't really agree with the curtains she's chosen, then she turns around, chuck the unhung drapery at you while yelling "WELL IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT THEN LET'S SEE HOW YOU DEAL WITH A PALM THE SIZE OF YOUR STUPID SIGHTLESS FACE. AND YOU'RE SLEEPING ON THE COUCH TONIGHT".
It may be a bit rude of me to comment on your relationship, but I'm just pointing it out.
I'm particularly proud of that analogy
otherwise arts as good as ever dude. your fetish for madness nonwithstanding.
Yeah, we like to have a ton of arguments.. But it's typically too late, where I realize that I completely missed the point of the argument. SO I TRY TO COVER UP MY IDIOT MISTAKES BY IGNORING IT.
Really not the soundest idea... But yeah I hear ya when you say I need work with my proportions. I'd like to think though that I've been getting better with them overall. I do correct things mid painting and adjust things while I work now, instead of just blatantly leaving them because I feel lazy (like I used to). The dude in the front of this latest picture, I've noticed a lot of errors in his proportions, and I've spent time tweaking his limbs to hopefully make them seem proportionate..
But something I've been pushing myself to do is incorporate crazy poses with each piece, or nonstandard poses anyways.. So keeping the proportions proportionate to the way they should seem while in such poses is something I'm trying to work on to convey, so that there isn't any question as to what I was thinking while painting it.. >_>' With all dem angles and what not..
So, here's what I have so far with this pic.. If anyone would like, feel free to show me how to correct the proportions! :D I'd like to see what people think. (yes you can go over them with red lines or sketches, or what have you)
