mx 2004 wont let me paste text!

please...help..someone..i copied some text from a word document...and when i goto paste it into my flash mx 2004 document..nothing happens....i mean..i made sure i wasnt pasting into a locked layer..i dont know how to get it to work...i right click..it says paste..but when i goto..nothing happens..grr..it will paste text already in the document if i copy it..but it wont from word doc's....it was like 4 sentences..but i dont want to have this problem in the future...i re-started the program and everything..so0o00meeo0oonneee helpp me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..please?

i run windows 98 os on this pc...and i can paste fine into flash mx.

but not with 2004 or 2004 pro.

hmm... Try "activating" the text tool(selecting it and clicking on the screen), THEN paste... maybe that's what you did... Aah, Gl

i tried that before..but..i might as well try again.OMFG!it workt.....it still isnt pasting from word...but it will paste from the forum box? idk...maybe the crack fkt up my trial version.
