Be sure to check if the lighting is good. If not, adjust the setting on your camera.

Think of your picture as a tic-tac-toe board. Center the focus of the picture in one of the squares.

And when you take your film to the developers, make sure you get your negatives back so that you can check them later. On a digital camera, use high-quality gloss paper.

If you're developing the film yourself, be sure to have fresh water to wash off all the processing chemicals. Nobody likes murky water.
