But Saturday night sigh you are screwing with my head monday /sat omg im going nuts haha....
It was only ever on Monday when the Sunday update (which I always started on Sunday, I'd get the exp (at least) on Sunday night, but sometimes the rest of the data-mining and the list-making and stat-taking would take until the early hours of Monday morning) went late...
And now it's either early Saturday, middle Saturday, late Saturday, or very early Sunday. That's the way it goes. Sorry for messing with you head but please be assured it was accidental. :::nods:::
Anyways great update like always GFOX....
Thanks, as always. #;-}>

Yea, there would be no point to close the topic.
I have no idea why you guys starting talking about me closing my two most successful topics of all time, anyway. I'd be more likely to stop blamming and saving!

oh wait. Well yeah. #;-}>
I enjoyed it throughly, thanks.
Awesome. You're quite welcome.

Nice update as always, gfox. I don't know if I'll be shooting up to another spot next week, but if I get lucky, I just might be a hopeful in doing so. Sure, cracking the top twenty was a great thing, but I want to make sure that I'm solidly in the top twenty for a long time coming.
Top 20 wasn't enough for ya, eh? Getting greedy, eh? Eh? Eh? #;-}> When you're down around where you are on the list, you can move past people quite often (relatively speaking). I iz teh jealous, actually!

Please, no. Isn't getting 10k of two things difficult enough? Three will be even more difficult.
One day, something will have to be done again.
hard limit (top 50, 100, 150, etc.)
raising of points required (10k -> 12.5k, 15k, 20k, etc.)
updating less often (every other week, every month, every other month, etc.)
raising the Xx10k requirement (3x10k)
Which of those seems the most fair?
I would argue either a hard limit (such as top 100).... or the 3x10k.
It won't be anytime soon, so don't worry.

Poor ~X~'s Angels losing tonight >:) and i suspect Bob's Cardinals will see the same fate tomorrow so it will most likely be my White Sox vs. your Astros, best of luck.
You'll need it. >:)
My Astros obviously used up all their luck against the National League (to get to the playoffs), the Atlanta Braves (that 18th inning game, for one thing), and the St. Louis Cardinals (overcoming that 3-run Pujols blast in game 5 to win in game 6 didn't just take the talent of Roy Oswalt, it took luck and determination and a whole lot of energy that was gone afterwards)...
I don't think they had any left when they faced the White Sox. Whereas the White Sox had a lot of the same magic (such as from that AJ play against the Angels in game 2)... a hit-by-pitch that was actually a bat-hit-by-pitch... and other such calls. But mostly a lot of great play, lucky "balls hit right to fielders" effect, and talented pitching and timely hitting.
Astros had lots of all those things as well, just not as much. Hence.... 2-run loss, 1-run loss, 2-run loss, 1-run loss.
Tight, tight games. Much closer than 4-0 would indicate. And thus a good series, overall. :::tips cap to X-Naut, one of the good White Sox fans out there::: Go stick it in the Cubs' faces, BTW. Please do it... for all of us anti-Cubs out there, be they in Chicago, St. Louis, Houston, or anywhere else. #;-}>

Heh. I wish, man. I wish. First WS game won by the Astros will have to... "wait till next time."
Next time won't be too far off, though. The first time was the toughest to get to. That's why it took 43 years of failed attempts. #;-}>

Sox win again! In your face Gfox! >:P
Heh i saw that, the Sox seem to be owning ther 3rd team in a row sigh :(
~X~
I wouldn't call a 5-3 win owning... I wouldn't call a 7-6 win owning... I wouldn't even call a 7-5 win owning (even though five of the runs came off Houston's best pitcher in ONE FREAKING INNING... Roy Oswalt... WHY did you have to have that horrible, horrible, horrible 5th inning in game 3?! Damnit).
And the 1-0 win at the end? That was just a sum-up of the Astros' season.
We got shut-out 1-0 more in this season than I remember us getting shut out for the previous 3 or so seasons combined. Insanity.
