Yeah, it is cool. Doesn't make you eligible though. I'm still stuck at about 7K4 combined - even if you stick in my reviews it only puts me at 8K7...

Like I said when I first posted it, this was never intended to be a regularly updated list.

I may update it again sometime this month (it wasn't THAT long ago that I last updated, it though), but do you REALLY want this to get updated so badly that it'd get in the way of the top 50 blam and top 50 save lists?

Cause updating this would happen during time I COULD be updating those two lists. I dunno about you, but my priority is to the other lists.

Don't worry, I wasn't getting upset or anything. Just trying to make the point that there have to be priorities, and for me, it goes:

getting actual blams and protects
spending time updating the top 50 protect and top 50 blam list
spending time updating the review/response list
spending time updating the user ID list I still haven't finished
spending time updating this 10,000+ list

clearly this list is the lowest priority.

No plans for an update right now, folks. Between just updating the blam and save top 50s twice in one week, ranking up, and working on taking on full time running of NGling's VP list, I'm a bit swamped when it comes to NG list work.

this list is not gona be so hard to get to. i got 6000 blam/ save pints in a week so theareticly ill be on in 5 weeks....

Make the total points go:

((total xp time 3) + ( total posts times 2) + ( Total b/p) ) divided by 3.
because xp is the longest and hardest to get, so its worth more, posts are just as hard to get, but you're not limited, so its easier and you can get like 100 B/p per day so they should be worth the least.

It might tend to be that way, but you need look no further than the post above yours to see an exception already:

you see, poxy? Dobio seems to have far less problem getting posts and exp than he does getting blams and protects, so... the 3xEXP, 2xPOSTS, 1xB/P method you lay out would reward him in an unbalanced fashion.

The truth of the matter is that not everyone applies equal effort into getting exp, posts, and b/p, as you yourself are a great example of. You're adding plenty of exp and posts, but no b/p. Same as Dobio, only you have a larger base of b/p already present.

Anyway, just as there are people with no posts but plenty of exp and b/p, there are people with tons of exp, 0 b/p, and anywhere from no posts to a bunch (just look at half the top 50 exp list) and tons of people with a bazillion posts but no exp and varying levels of b/p (biteme rings a bell).

The three stats are so apples and oranges that even combining them at all like I've done is this topic is kinda stupid, but I just wanted to mass all the numbers together. If you start multiplying here and handicapping there, it totally removes the much more transparent process of simply adding them and turns it into some weird ass stat along the lines of WH/IP combined with ERA in baseball or something.

so... anyone's free to make a weighted version of this list, or just weight their own stats, but whenever I finally get around to updating this again, I don't think I'll be changing the basic formula of A + B + C = D. It's just simple.

And anyway, this is all just a lark, just a curiosity. I take it nowhere near as seriously as I take my other lists (blams, saves, and VP).
