It would go much faster if medal points were counted instead of medals. ;) Only four users with more than 10k medals on this list so far, and they've been medaling for years... this might take a while.
HA! Yeah, that would make things easier for everyone. Hell, even I'd be quadlisted now!
Newsposts, comments on newsposts, responses to reviews, submissions, playlists, user creations, there's so many possibilities! :) And who knows what new exiting countable features will be introduced in the future.
No, no, no, no, no and no! :P Also, I'm surprised you didn't mention fans and friends. (Though I don't think there's any way to see who somebody else has on their friends list?)

I was originally considering making audio reviews separate to flash reviews but then came the art portal and felt it would be better to just keep all the reviews in one category. That helps even more now since the flash portal is now split into two and eventually we should get the writing portal but the odds of that happening is slim to none.
Yeah, reviews kinda got all jumbled up lately. It is much easier just to lump them all together now.
Medals was put into consideration as soon as they were introduced. However, due to the different nature of how they worked as stats, they weren't rushed in because they were in beta at the time.
I was actually active during this time and remember it well.
At first it was considered to include medal points but after some responses against it, it was changed to consider quantity of medals instead and I feel that works out better because if we did the former, Nijsse would have obliterated the top spot by at least 100,000 points with medals alone. Quantity of medals was more ideal so that was tried out in beta updates which I made the hexalist official once we got the 2012 redesign.
Yeah, basing it on medal points would totally overwhelm every other stat. Counting medals really worked out perfectly, as earning 10,000 of them is just as big of a challenge (or more, in the case of saves, certainly) as earning any other 10k stat.
Medals are just above reviews in terms of difficulty to get them to 10,000 so it worked.
I don't know about that; I could get 10 medals a day pretty easily and there are more and more medal games coming out every day. 10 reviews that are up to my standard on the other hand, no way. (10k medals is actually a goal of mine, as it's my only real chance at getting quadlisted.) Now if we were talking 10 YouTube comments a day, well, I could probably manage that. ;)
With just managing one stat list alone, it's easy to understand why you would expand your work and do more for it. It's good to see this list getting the better light it deserves.
Hey, don't forget that I revived the top responses. :P Probably only going to post an update for that every few months, though.
I still don't understand why Webs.com had to change shit around and make it mandatory to use their own crap. Maybe because I have subscribed to them is why it's yet to be forced on me. When my subscription does expire (I won't be renewing at all), I might be on the same boat and will have to find another web server. If you do end up finding a good place that's free or maybe even give you a decent cheap annual offer, I will definitely appreciate being informed about it.
I'm talking to Cyberdevil about it now -I'm clueless, as usual. :D
If it works fine for you for the time being, then I can't argue. I don't know about your life situations right now so if you're loaded with free time then it's all good. Looking forward to every 17th should be alright Although, if you are going to do it every month, what about giving the 1st of each month a shot? There might be some downsides to that but I'd like to hear your input.
I could probably move it to the 1st, if that's something people want. It'll have to wait until I'm 100% confident with the list/hosting, though.
