If anyone's sad that the chief's story is not continued, then pretend that his story continued in Marathon. At least he didn't die and break a billion of fanboy's hearts. He's out there somewhere in space, cryo-genically frozen after saving humanity and the galaxy, destroying the flood and covenant, and liberating humans and elites all around the universe.

I say that moving to an ODST solider was a very smart move by Bungie that I'm thrilled about.

I think it's going to be a brilliant game, new aspects the Halo series will be great, plus being an ODST soldier will be a big change.

I REALLY hope they add new gameplay, not those sad excuses for new content called "Powerups" in Halo 3. Even if this was only in a 3rd person perspective, I'd get it. Tps's have a better feeling to them.

The new stuff is that you have:
No Shields
Less run speed/jump height
Not as strong as Chief

...I'm not so confident that grunts are cannon fodder anymore
