after surfing the BBS and asking some friends , it seems to me like threre are two main programs for making music on your computer. the Acid music making software and Cakewalk (fruity loops) can anyone vouch for the umm goodness of eather programs or reccomend one over the other?

Well on teh topic of conversion, www.dppoweramp.com is a very handy lil tool. But now with Flash 5 etc it's not really needed for Flash.
