Free Preloader Source

Hello all Artists/Programmers... I'm making this thread as a source for NG users out there who want to spice up their flashes with a cool preloader. Now, I know Newgrounds offers a vast selection of very nice ones, however, some get "old" to people, so this is just a place for people who like designing things like preloaders in their spare time. If you want to participate, feel free to do so, just follow the guidelines below...

Rules:
Follow all of the Newgrounds Forums Rules and General Rules and you should be ok...

Please, no flaming people, I will report it to the closest mod I find... Flaming is just stupid...

Make the file 550x400 please (default flash size)

Any of the Newgrounds Base materials or preloaders can be modified, but make your own stuff,
don't just change the colors around, add some more stuff to it...

These preloaders are only meant as an option for those who are looking for something...

You have every right to request credits for your modification/preloader...

*** Addressed to anyone who uses these preloaders, if an artist requests credits, just credit them... Stealing the preloader as your own is not cool, and most of all, I will let someone (who can actually do something about it) know...***

Please include an exported JPEG or GIF here along with the link to the .swf and download link (if you wish to allow downloading) to the .fla

*** For those making downloadables; please dont bug the download with malicious software or links of any kind... Again, I will find someone and tell them, and most of all this is meant to help people, so don't do anything that cruel.***

*** For those who choose to download a preloader, download at your own risk... I feel dumb saying this but there are idiots out there that bug things...***

Other than that...
I will try and make a post containing all the links to swf and (if available) fla files weekly, this will be in a nice and easy to find format like so:

Preloader Name - By "Artist's Name" - Preview (swf) - Download (fla)

Final notes on formatting...

Screen Res:
550px x 400px

Background Color:
White

Frame Rate:
Preferably 30Fps, if it is different, just indicate that...

Preloader Name:
Create a name for it and put it at the top of your post

Download Links/Preview Links:
Under the preloader name

Credit Requests:
Any request for credits must be clearly stated such as "Please put my Username in the credits screen"

Please use a site everybody recognizes for the links--

pretty good idea man. Kudos to you, however a tutorial that is classy, explanatory and better than most of the other crap would be better, for people could create their own. Just my opinion but still kudos.

Simple NG Modified

I just modeled this after NG's Simple NG Preloader,
But it doesn't have the tank, and doesn't beep. Great for small games.
It's the preloader i used in Lime Green, and in Gradation for Beginners.
Enjoy it. :]

Name: Simple NG Modified
Frame Rate: 24, but can be used with any frame rate.
Background Color: White/Light Gray gradient, may be modified.
Credit: Of course not, i didn't make it from scratch. :]

I really like the sound of this of this thread and would like to take the oppurtunity to make a or even two, but I must ask, how, say on the iGrounds one, do you make a different loader other than a bar (is the coding different)?

Oldsage, when you started this thread, you should have had some good preloaders. You have terribly made and only minor edits in the preloaders. You could spend under two minutes to make any of these. Here's an example that took five or ten minutes to whip up, but MIGHT help this crap-shoot.

Here it is
You can edit the number of lines going in the circle, the speed, the animation of the pieces, etc. You also have to take out a bit at the end, for it to continue after it's full loaded. I just highlighted it out, but it says at the bottom, where you download it [here]

Hmm... I thought for sure this was dead but anyway... El-Presidente, I know mine dont look too well worked on but I just made them to give other a good idea of what this was meant for... Any person can have a preference for a certain style, and I want to try and make those generic or simple styles available to anyone who wants them, I do value your making a contribution and all, and I am working on some better ones.

So you've just created an animation or game and and the first thing you want them to see isn't even your own work? The stock preloaders should be used by people who don't have enough skill to make their own. There are better ways to pay homage to NG.

I made another one, called Reflections "Black", I will make other colors soon. The button style isn't the best, but I made a nice integrated system that displays the movie name and artist name (you have to input that info but I made the instructions simple) and generates a link to your NG userpage. Also, up to 3 snapshots of the move can be added as scene previews, this is more for movies, but I suppose games could use it...

Anyways: Preview, Download
Format: Flash 8 AS2
Credits: Just don't claim as your own Ok???
Oh and BTW it already has a link to Newgrounds too.

LesPaulPlayer, I understand where you're comin' from, I do. But I made this as not only a source for new users or someone who wants a cool looking preloader, to come and get that preloader, I made it as a place where ideas can be freely exchanged so that way, maybe one day, those flash newbs can make their own stuff... There are people out there that learn by example...

I don't feel like bugging the mods because no1 would actually know if I had permission or not to make a collab and ppl would flame me like crazy and besides, my BA is .07 too low...

I personally wouldn't make it into a collab. Or maybe after a few weeks, just to get a nice view on all the different preloaders, instead of having to search the pages of this thread. But it wouldn't be fun or entertaining to watch for most people.
