One of the visions Tom had, way back when (prior to the launch of the re-design), was that users would be able to personalise their userpage (not the individual sections, the main part of it, on the right hand side - the stats will remain as they are for now.)
Sadly, that was put on the backburner at the time, in order to get the re-design pushed out (which, in itself, created a lot more work than any of us had anticipated.)
ANYWAY, you're now able to arrange the main pods on the right hand side of your userpage as you want them (and other users to see them). Don't want your news post appearing above your flash submissions? Simple - drag your flash submissions pod above your recent news post pod and click the 'save changes' link. Same goes for whatever else you have in your userpage.
You don't need to save the changes every time you move a pod, if you intend to make more than one change to the layout of your page. You can organise your page as you want it and just click 'save changes' when you're happy with how things look and want to commit those changes.
