A real answer:
Yes. You should try pot, and get high, at least once. Once you get to college, "I've never done a drug in my life!" is most definitely not a title you want. Then again, "Stoner" is not a good title either. I strongly suggest that you do it in high school, when you have boundaries. This is because I know alot of people who never did any drugs until college, and they liked it alot, and, being in an environment with such a massive degree of freedom, smoked way too much and blew off important things to get high. You're not taking any risks in smoking pot once. You're not going to be the first person to die from weed, you're not going to start fiending for weed afterward. You're not going to get stupider.
However, I can safely say from experience that marijuana is not a good thing to incorporate into your life. You don't realize it when you're a stoner, but in general, it takes a toll on your mental faculties. It makes you slip into a mental rut. When I smoked every day, and even just every day on weekends, when I came to school and did homework sober, it was just harder to focus and think. The more you smoke, the hazier your SOBER mind gets. You get withdrawn and less social, though there are exceptions. I was always a shy kid and smoking pot made content with not socializing, making my social situation alot worse. I didn't touch a girl for over a year when I was smoking every chance I got. I didn't realize any of this until I just stopped smoking. I felt noticeably healthier, happier, more social, and my mind was clear and sharp. I felt like I had just taken off a huge weight that was bearing down on my mental, and emotional, faculties.
That having been said, I think it's important to try weed once to see just what its like being high. It clears up the mystery and nervousness associated with the drug. It also lets gives you insight and an important life experience in general. You also don't want to be that guy in college... you become the target of corruption efforts. You're going to want to be able to tell girls that you've at least tried it.
