I hear people always talkin about FPS this, FPS that, what the hell is it, and how can i use it???

its called frames per second, with flash obviously, thats how many frames of a movie plays each second.

FPS means Frames Per Secound. It controls how fast or slow of a time it takes till it changes to the next scene. The higher the number the less time it takes to change scenes. The lower the number it takes more time to change scenes. On Flash 5 the default FPS is 12. to change this go to the top center grid and double click on the words below it that say 12.0fps
