Got a real hardcore atheist here in the house tonight ladies and gentlemen!
Because clearly, all the stereotypical christians you've met= The entire Christian population in the whole world, right?
Actually, I am not an atheist. My beliefs, I think myself, and I think it should be up to individuals to figure out what they think. In other words, religions that are not open to new thinking and ideas piss me off. It so happens that many religions are like this, but Christianity is completely intolerable to change and will say it is wrong, and that there is proof Christianity is the complete truth.
And no, I do realize that the stereotypical Christian is not every Christian in the world. Didn't I say (or at least imply) that I do not think all Christians are the same?
I've been thinking a while and another thing that angers me is the division between Christians. Most religions have a few different denominations (Islam has Sunni and Shiite, Hindus have Vaishnavism, Shaivism, Shaktism and Smartism, etc.). Christianity has the most denominations I've ever seen. And they fight amongst themselves over what is right and wrong about the bible. Again, this is mostly with my own experiences, and I am not stereotyping (if it appears I am, then you misunderstand my viewpoint).
I will say it a bit more clearly: I DO NOT THINK ALL CHRISTIANS ARE THE SAME, BUT I MAKE MY STATEMENTS BASED ON MY EXPERIENCES!
