I never understood why that show never scared me. I watched it recently and it's quite creepy. That episode was always scary , along with that one I think in New York with the roach that kept people in the basement and locked them in.

Wasn't there a similar episode that was Headless Horseman-esque? I remember not being scared in that episode besides one part, and I can't remember for the life of me what that part was.

The only thing I can remember that scared me as a kid was that previously mentioned episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog, King Ramses' Curse. I couldn't ever watch that episode alone.

i was never scared of Courage when i was little, and i watched one day a year ago, and it was fucking freaky. the guy that does the animation should do icons for emos. and goosebumps. like one were a kid ate a worm sandwich. wtf?

What about the episode of Spongebob with The Creepy Squidward head? But id also have to say the episode of rugrats you mentioned

The only episode that freaked me out was that one where the Eustace couldn't plant a flower, so this giant ghost head tells him he has until midnight.

That one didn't scare me. There were only three that freaked me out. King Ramses' Curse, 1000 Years of Courage, and McPherson Phantom. The latter two only scared me because they featured the opening music from King Ramses' Curse, which gave me nightmares for at least a year.

Anyway, Goosebumps used to scare the fuck out of me back when I was about five.

Why would that scare you? If I remember correctly, the Disney movie was about an animated talking underprivileged mouse trying to save the world.

Oh god... That episode... That was the only episode I was ever freaked out about... That ghost just scared me so much... I was like freaking out for days after that, and whenever I would watch that show and that episode would be playing, I would instantly change the channel. Honestly, that youtube video was the first time I saw that episode since that first time when I got scarred for life haha.

Scary thing is, even though its been about 3 years, I still remembered exactly what it looked like. Oh, and no, it doesn't scare me now lol.

Same feeling I had after I watched King Ramses' Curse.

I've only ever seen two or three episodes of Courage the Cowardly Dog and they freaked me out big time, so...how bad is this King Ramses Curse episode? I don't want to watch a video to find out.

Anybody remember that Courage the Cowardly Dog episode with the tablet and the creepy green guy? It made it all the more scary since the green guy was 3D, but seriously, I couldn't stop thinking about that one episode. Had me up at night for days. Here's a link:
