You want me to pay $180 for the same game, 3 times in a row?

Fuck you Blizzard. I'll buy the first only out of courtesy, and torrent the rest.

Fuck you.

A war. Between the human Terrans, the alien Zergs, and another alien race Protoss (who fight with honor).

Read it up to see the entire story. I'm not good at summing things up.

You are retarded if you think all 3 will cost 60 bucks each. PC games usually cost between 30 and 50 (max!). The most common price is around 40.

Also I doubt these so-called episodes well be very expensive. I'll probably buy them all.
Blizzard has never dissapointed me (besides WoW, which is not my cup of tea but still not a bad game).

Listen, SC2 will come in 3 editions, the multiplayer will be the same, but the HUGE EPIC AWESOME campaigns will come separate.
From what ive heard the games campaign is so beatiful that having them all in one package would include many many dvds.

God, why do they need more money?

Don't they have enough from WoW (rhetorical, they have billions...)?!

Why do they have to make the common people suffer? Geez.

I wish common sense was more common.

Well, when you think about it, since all three of the games' multiplayer will be coexistent, and you can most likely play as all three races in the multiplayer, all this means is that you buy your favorite races edition, and get a three times better campaign mode. Everything else will stay the same.

I hope.

I can only advise you to read as much about StarCraft II as you can find on the internet. Try multiple gaming sites and especially the official website and all that.

Seriously, I've read a lot about it and I swear, this game will kick ass.
Every of these three episodes will have a single player campaign of about 26-30 missions (they said that on BlizzCon). You will be able to play EVERY race in multiplayer matches in ALL episodes (they confirmed that, too). So, what you get is three EPIC games.

Also: The reason why they plan to release it in episodes simply is they have a HUGE ammount of content. Blizzard always does incredible CGI scenes (and StarCraft II will have more of 'em than any other Blizzar title).

Oh, and you didn't forget the role-playing aspect right?

BATTLENET FEATURES MONETIZED !

Guess that since WoW Blizz really became money whores.

Well if all 3 games are released at the same time, for $10 - 20 per disc, then I'd buy it, or if they released all 3 in a bundle on launch day.

But regardless. What a cheap ass move by Blizzard. I knew that Activision Blizzard wasn't going to be all good.

Okay, I don't get how they "need" to monetize it (quote) since they made billions of dollars with WoW). On the other hand: I don't believe they want to charge the general service...maybe they will add certain options which one is supposed to pay for. You know, like...premium settings.

Oh, well. We will see.

Anyways, here's another awesome screenshot (had to reduce the quality for NG)

They don't, they just want more money.

Oh and that emote in your sig needs to become a real NG icon.

Okay, I'm bumping this thread, because there's a shitload of new AMAZING videos on Gametrailers.

You have to see these:
BlizzCon 2008 Media in SD & HD.

There are also some newer Diablo 3 videos in case you're interested in that title, too.
That picture below is not CGI by the way! It's in-game and if you don't believe me, go watch the freaking videos already!

I don't care what anyone says: Both games will blow out our brains with awesomeness!
