Authors such as F4Gg0T, Wolfgang Hitler, poweitomanm jozllsjiue (Sex0r), and Fuk yuo (trashcanman) are ruining Newgrounds with there crap spam animation and I don't know about you guys but it's pissing me off slightly and since I'm a new user I'm not sure what to do about it alone.

As long as they're not taking awards and recognition away from artists who really deserve it, who cares? Nobody's forcing you to watch their videos.

Since you're a new user, I'll go easy on you and tell you that no one is going to do anything about it. Sure, there are groups like the ngpd and such, but in the end, there will always be spammers, It's a fact of life, deal with it.

That is true but it's annoying trying to search something and finding spam instead!

As long as they are not doing anything hateful, or anything like that, nobody can really do anything about it. But then there is Tom. If you Pm him, he may ask them to do change their acts and whatnot.

What you may consider spam, others may not. If they submit a lot of flashes in 1 day, thats spamming, but if they just post a bad flash, maybe they actually worked on it and they suck at animating (like me.)

Anyway, as others have said, no one is forcing you to watch their videos, and once they get through the portal they'll probably never be watched again, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I doubt pm'ing Tom will help, he has enough stuff to do that just because a user wants some videos deleted that he'll delete it.

You never know though, so you could try it, but not to Tom. Try pming Wade, he's more of the flash kind of person.

talking about spam in the flash portal, and you list what... like 4 authors? Spammer come in massive numbers, and they take a big shit on the portal every fucking day. There really isn't any point of looking through the 'latest submissions' anymore, unless you want blam/save points. Unless something gets on the front page or best of the week, or is highlighted in the new submissions, i don't really watch it.

And then theres people who 'make their first flash' and it ends up being so fucking horrible that most consider it spam. Because it looks like it took no effort.

Also, what, do you think we haven't realized this? What is the purpose of this thread? To raise awareness of something we have fully been aware of for years? Spammers have always been here (and zero bombers in the case of the audio portal), and there is literally nothing we can do about it.

For one thing, there are way too many of them to ban them all.
For another, even if we did, each one probably already has 3 accounts. Not to mention they can make more at any time.

Seriously, man. Think for a second before posting things like this. Even though you're new, it's fairly obvious that we knew about the spammers already.

Read up in the ng history about KK and the Clocks* etc. Spammers have been here forever.

*That's a strange one. A lot of their shit is spam, but a lot of if it actually good stuff. It's what happens when you take a good character, use it to spam the portal, then somebody else who liked the idea and happens to be a good animator picks it up.
