$600 dollars for the newest version? Are you serious?

Are you telling me everyone who makes these cartoons on this site, has dished out hundreds of dollars, all to make cartoons that will most likely take you no where for your time and effort, and will only win you praise by your peers?

There has to be an easier cheaper way, i dont want to blow all this money, and for all i know i wont even be good at it, and never get a handle of things.

Does anyone at all know a cheaper way for someone to start out? I know I can get an older version for cheaper, but its still gonna cost me a pretty penny.

Im sure im not the first one to come here sayin all this, but i dont check the forums here often, and i didnt feel like searching through he hundreds of pages for a simple answer.

Just get a trial first. If you're not good at it, don't bother paying for it. I think 30 days is plenty of time to figure out whether or not you're interested in continuing.
