There is nothing wrong with liking her music and talent - People who simply dislike her for her drug/drink problems should shut the fuck up really and realise that some of the best music made has been by doped up musicians.

Amy is no different really to be honest. Just listen to her first album Frank - Basically it's boring. Then listen to Back To Black and sure she had different production then, but the difference in quality is outstanding.

There is just so much more passion, better lyrics, more powerful singing and of course the great instrument choices.

Nothing wrong with liking her music, just her personal life needs to be looked down on a bit.

I was watching telly last night and it was like 'most embarrassing pop moments' or whatever and it must have been filmed a while ago because everyone was saying 'yeah Amy needs to stop drinking', 'she's drunk all the time now', 'alcohol was what messed up Amy Winehouse', but when I say 'alcohol is just as much of a gateway drug as cannabliss' people say 'stfu'. The Amy Winehouse story chronicles what happens when people who are predisposed to drug problems use alcohol, very well.

My mum and step-dad like Amy Winehouse. And a lot of female friends from High School.
