25 bucks for shipping?!

Ok, so I was browsing the store and decided I need a penicorn. I filled in what country I live in and it's costing me 25 dollars to ship a penicorn which costs 15 dollars to my country. No offence, I love NG and I love the penicorn plush, but no plush is worth 40 dollars (even though dollars aren't worth shit right now). Therefore I decided not to get it.

That's not what I meant. Of course I knew it'd have shipping costs, but 25 dollars is more than the item I want to buy, so that's not worth it in any way.

I mean, seriously, it's a 9 inch penicorn and it weighs 4 ounces, why not just get some friends together and do a mass order?

Seriously, I just did a check on the cost of 3 penicorns, 2 angry faic keychains and a large shirt, cost of items $75, cost of shipping (at most expensive rate) $34.75, and that's coming over to the UK.

For comparison purposes I tried the same with a single penicorn, and the most expensive shipping rate was $25.95, so the more you buy the cheaper they can ship it, so the less the shipping is in comparison to the cost of the items.

There are better solutions than just refusing to get something you want, and much better solutions than complaining on the forums.

Well, I already realised this. However, I have no friends as geeky as me who are even remotely interested in NG merchandise, so doing a big order with them is out of the question. And I'm a college student with only a little bit of money so it's out of the question for me to order more than just a penicorn and perhaps some stickers. Also, due to me not having a lot of money, 25 bucks is pretty much a night out clubbing, so I think I'll rather spend it on liquor than on some shipping costs.
